Filling a gap in my Acathexis member's main projects collection. Wild that a band like that has a guitarist as good as Jacob on drums, a vocalist as good as Déhà on guitars and a drummer as good as Dany on drums. Here he's back at home but still doing killer vocal work. A deep exploration of inner darkness and our thirst for distraction over remedy. Luke

This album rocks! Has a great atmosphere. I really enjoy this type of BM that is more meditative, with excellent riffs. Love the sound of the guitar and drums. That snare drum hit is perfect. I am looking forward to future releases. Might be my new fav band! jschmid20

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
Nearly a decade after their last LP, the Chicago post-metal trio resurface with a punishing concept album set in an apocalyptic wasteland. Bandcamp New & Notable May 5, 2024

Though with a tendency to sound a bit repetitive and dragging a bit in the 8+ minutes long tracks, I really dig the very melodic black metal that GROZA are making. The vibe is good so it doesn't matter to me if they drag the pleasure along. Bands trying to redefine things calling themselves "post-whatever" are a dime a dozen, but who cares really? It could be a touch more aggressive, or more on the raw side, to fit the "mold"... I dig it I get it, that's my motto. Give it a try it is worth it!! sachavonkarl74
